Tony Assender – Director, Astleigh Consulting Ltd
Tony Assender has over 34 years experience of working in the global financial markets, the last 14 of which have been with the credit rating agency Standard & Poor’s. Prior to that, Tony worked for a number of international banks in various corporate finance and lending positions. He has lectured extensively on credit risk at external conferences, contributed to Euromoney publications on syndicated lending and been a visiting lecturer on ratings and credit analysis at Kings College London and Reading University.
Dean Moore – Head of Marketing & Sales, Astleigh Consulting Ltd
Dean Moore has over 30 years experience in senior management in the banking and finance sectors, working all over the world. Dean was Head of Project Finance for The Sumitomo Bank in Hong Kong and was responsible for advising and arranging over US$15billion worth of funding throughout Asia and advising a number of governments and quasi government institutions.
Returning to the UK in 2001, Dean has been managing director of an IT company and Finance Director of two SME’s during the last 10 years.

Tim Wilding – Director, Finalysis UK Ltd
Tim Wilding is a founding Director of Finalysis UK. Prior to Finalysis in 2002, Tim had over 27 years banking experience with Barclays and Industrial Bank of Japan. Whilst at Barclays, Tim was responsible for managing one of the corporate treasury sales team and providing advice on interest rate hedging to the London region of the bank’s branch network. At Industrial Bank of Japan, Tim was Head of Treasury sales, marketing treasury product to a wide range of corporate and institutional clients. Tim specialises in Banking Relationship and Treasury reviews, often highlighting the hidden costs associated with everyday domestic and international banking transactions
David Leighton – Director, Finalysis UK Ltd
David Leighton is a founding Director of Finalysis UK. He helped form Finalysis UK in 2002 after many years in Corporate Banking and Trade Finance with JP Morgan/Chase and Sumitomo Bank. As well as bank relationship reviews, David specialises in assisting clients with general borrowing and organising project finance tendering/evaluations to achieve the most cost effective and efficient use of their banking relationships.
James Flynn - Senior Consultant, Finalysis UK Ltd
James Flynn joined Finalysis UK in August 2004, having spent over 25 years working in the banking industry. The last 15 years were in the Treasury Department of Mizuho Banking Corporation, London (formerly The Industrial Bank of Japan Ltd.) where, on the Corporate Sales Desk, he developed an in depth knowledge of all treasury products, including Money Market Deposits, Certificates of Deposit and Foreign Exchange. James was also responsible for the marketing, sales and trading of Euro Commercial Paper for the Mizuho Group.
